Spindle flap wheels
Spindle flap wheels are produced of diameter 30-80mm and height 20-50mm.
These wheels are used stationary equipment as well as in manual electric and pneumatic machines.
The use of spindle flap wheels in internal grinding machines can be exemplified by polishing holes in gears instead of honing, since the same wheel can be used for machining a variety of holes. With honing, each hole requires its own hone and setting up of the machine.
Application of spindle flap wheels is the only way of mechanization of working the cases of thin-wall pneumatic cylinders before chromium-plating and after it.
Back surfaces of back gear teeth of worm modular millers are polished on backing-off lathes.
Spindle flap wheels are most widely used on manual pneumatic and electric machines for working the profile surfaces of molds and dies in tool production, working the internal surfaces and holes in the production and repair of case parts, welded metal structures and vessels. Spindle flap wheels are used for
grinding and polishing of not easily accessible surfaces, deburring of holes, removal of scale, rust, scum, etc.
Spindle flap wheels find much use in the production and repair of airplanes, automobiles, carriages, other vehicles and equipment, in construction and everyday life.
